Curaçao Sea Aquarium is Curaçao’s premiere location for marine life exploration! We use an Open Water System at our facility, which means that fresh seawater is continuously pumped into the aquaria and returned to the sea through overflows creating natural environments for all marine creatures without using chemicals or filters. This makes Curaçao Sea Aquarium one of the world’s most unique sea aquariums. Together with the Curacao Dolphin Academy N.V. and Substation Curacao, Animal Encounters and the Ocean Lens they form a fascinating world of diverse marine organisms and ecospheres just waiting for you to come and explore.

Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and service-minded Tour Guide to join our aquarium team. In this guest-facing role, you will be the face of the aquarium and play a key part in creating memorable, educational, and inspiring experiences for visitors of all ages.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engaging and informative guided tours for visitors
• Share fascinating facts and stories about marine life
• Answer guest questions with enthusiasm, accuracy, and professionalism
• Support daily aquarium operations and special events
• Help maintain a friendly, professional, and safe environment for all guests
• Contribute to an excellent overall guest experience

• Strong service-minded attitude with a focus on guest satisfaction
• A true people-person who enjoys interacting with diverse audiences
• Multilingual: Papiamentu, Dutch, English, and Spanish
• Team player who collaborates easily with colleagues
• Proactive, flexible, and able to take initiative
