We use an Open Water System at our facility, meaning that fresh seawater is continuously pumped into the aquaria and returned to the sea through overflows, creating natural environments for all marine organisms without chemicals or filters. This makes Cura\u00e7ao Sea Aquarium one of the world\u2019s most unique sea aquariums. Together with the Curacao Dolphin Academy N.V. and Substation Curacao they form a fascinating world of diverse marine organisms and ecospheres just waiting for you to come and explore.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>As a cashier you provide a fast and friendly customer service while ensuring accuracy at the sales counter. You will be operating a cash register and all the duties which correspond to this activity. You will be also responsible to take reservations and make changes and issue receipts.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide excellent customer service to all park guests to ensure customer satisfaction<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Operate cash register by compiling printed list, and display cost of customer purchase, tax, and rebates on monitor screen and issue receipt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiar with the different products that the park has to offer as well as park events to upsell guests to other service levels and offerings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Handling money and other means of payment and checking their validity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At end of shift, totals cash register contents shown on register tape; verifies against cash on hand and register reports with supervisor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Skills and Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Good knowledge of languages such as, Dutch, English and Papiamentu, and Spanish is a pre!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High School Diploma or equivalent<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Trustworthy when handling money<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum of two years of experience as a cashier<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communicate with our guests in a professional and friendly manner<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solution-oriented and works well independently<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basic math and accounting skills to ensure accuracy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Is representative, correct and stress resistant<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>We encourage you to apply if you feel your profile is a match!<\/strong><br\/>Please send your CV and cover letter before July 20, 2025 to recruitment@csapark.com<br\/>For more information about our facility and animals, you can also visit<br\/>our website https:\/\/curacao-sea-aquarium.com<\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>register and all the duties which correspond to this activity.
