He took wonderful pictures and movies from our kids feeding the sharks and playing with the stingrays under water. The kids absolutely loved it and even for the parents it was amazing observing the three of them being in the water from the underwater observatory. We highly recommend this animal encounter. Another highlight was the dolphin show.

  This a privately built aquarium fill with sea creatures native to the area with the exception of a couple of sea lions. The aquarium is well taken care and is... read more pretty innovated in it's approach of it's care of their sea animals. It isn't huge but a good quality of sea life to view. You can feed a variety of the sea animal for a fee or swim and interact with the dolphin and rays for a fee.They have free educational demonstrations and shows. I was very impressed with the people who work and love on these sea creatures. It was very evident that it was to make the islanders and visitors aware of the special type of life that share the sea with us humans. Very dedicated helping rebuilt the coral reefs and keeping their island beautiful for generations to come.

Travel ideas from Willemstad - the large bus wasn't available so we flagged down one of the smaller "van" buses and spent only two US dollars per person each way. What a deal!

They do not even advertise the senior rate, luckily I spotted the rate on the... read more last minute when I was giving money to the cashier (I had 6 seniors in my group, so that makes a big difference). What does the homepage of Aquarium mention, is the Ocean Lens, which is extra charged attraction somewhere else, so the infotmation is tricky... The signage from the parking lot was poor. The Park maps need updates. The cashier did not say a word, which way to go, where to pickup daily schedule, she just said Hello, how much to pay and maybe Thank you (comparing to other destinations many people in Curacao employed in tourism seem to be bored, not very friendly and not customer oriented). The biggest problem was the girl at the Information desk, absolutely unable to explain what to do around, where to go, where to find the shows...
